A Hazardous Location (sometimes abbreviated as HazLoc) is defined as a place where there may be a fire or explosion hazard sufficient to produce an explosive or flammable sexual mixture. Must be installed in these explosion-proof areas, MEECH has been specially designed and tested to ensure that no explosion will be caused by arcing contacts or excessive temperature on the surface of the equipment.
